Thank you so much for visiting Simply Sourdough! I’d love to share a little bit of my journey and how I ended up here. Starting a home bakery wasn’t exactly my original plan, but I knew I wanted to bake sourdough at home. As I learned more and baked more, I quickly fell in love with the entire process—feeding the starter, watching the fermentation unfold, stretching the dough, and creating beautiful loaves. Trying new recipes, sharing them with friends and family, and seeing their reactions brought me so much joy!

God’s plan has a way of finding you exactly where you are—whether it’s through a new job, a life change, or an opportunity from a friend that you can’t ignore. That’s exactly how it happened for me. Our friends at Irie Smoothie Cafe encouraged me to sell my bread and invited me to set up a table at their one-year anniversary celebration. At the time, I wasn’t sure if I was ready to turn this into a full-blown business, but I trusted God and stepped through that open door. And He confirmed it in the best way—within an hour, I sold out of all 12 loaves that I had baked!

So here I am, starting an exciting new adventure with Simply Sourdough! I can’t wait to bake something amazing for you!
